The Lambton Heritage Museum has commissioned an original painting of the 1908 Petrolia Horse Drawn Ambulance in an historic setting in Petrolia. The original painting will be on display at the Petrolia and Enniskillen Fall Fair beginning Sept 10 at the Museums and Library tent. Framed prints, signed and titled by the artist will be for sale with all proceeds going to the continued restoration of the ambulance and enhancement of the display at the museum.

Just a "heads up" for anyone interested - the new Sarnia recycling calendar is illustrated with historical Sarnia photos and I have been told it looks great, although I haven't seen the finished product yet. So be sure to get one!

This First Friday (Aug. 5th), I will be outside Sarnia Library participating in the Lambton Cultural Services 'meet and greet' where they will be showing the county's new cultural plan. I will be presenting some of my work with Google Earth overlays, 3D models of historic structures and other cool stuff, such as where this little gem is from... Event starts at 6 pm and runs to about 9 pm. Hope you can make it out...

My first visit back for awhile - had to write for my password! Still working on the Alvinston bridge model (Kingscourt cutoff), but it is coming. Hope to have it done by early fall. When it is done I would like to bring it down to show Larry Lehrbach. I will keep in touch in this regard.
