Pinehurst, erected by the 1st sherrif of Lambton County, James Flintoft, of fine white bricks floated up the river for that purpose in 1857. The Flintoft's were the only family to occupy the house, which stood on the site now occupied by Harvey's restaurant on Christina St. After the last of the Flintoft children passed away in the mid-1950's, the house sat like a large time capsule until it was pulled down. www.flickr.com/photos/34370769@N07/3270091300/ admin edit: fixed link
