You can view the Chronology here.
This will take you to the List View of the LCHC, which is where you want to be, in order to sort, or filter, the information in the various columns.
[If you happen to hit the "Go to spreadsheet view" link at top left, you won't be able to sort, or filter the spreadsheet. To return to List View, simply hit your Back button twice, or choose List under the View menu at the top of the spreadsheet.]
Sorting columns in the List View
At the top left of the Chronology, you should see a small upright triangle inside the Date column heading. This indicates that the LCHC is currently sorted by date in chronological order, ie earliest event at the top. If you click on the heading "Date", the triangle will become inverted and the database will be sorted in reverse chronological order.
The same logic applies throughout the database. Click on the word in the column heading and the column will sort alpha-numerically, from 0->9 then A->Z, or click it again and the order will reverse; from Z->A then 9->0.
Filtering columns to show only desired entries
The other tool abailable is filtering. Under the column headings, you will see a drop-down menu with the word "All" in it. Open the menu and you will see a list of every entry made in the column. Simply click on the entry you're interested in and all other entries will be filtered out, leaving only entries featuring the word you chose.
Sorting and filtering provide you with two powerful tools for research. They allow you to make connections between events with related details, that may have been recorded in completely unrelated sources and might otherwise have been overlooked. In a database that may eventually contain thousands of entries, these tool become invaluable.

Hope you enjoy using the LCHC!
